ILLINOIS GOVERNOR’S OFFICE RELEASES EVICTION AID FOR LANDLORDS AND TENANTS
Governor Pritzker’s office has released $445 million in Federal legal aid earlier this month (October 2021), with another $61 million left to be distributed. Landlords can apply for aid now. Another $60 million is available through court-based rental assistance program for tenants eligible for rental assistance. Tenants and Landlords should apply now for these assistance programs.
